This journey invites you to the western outskirts of Hanoi, where every village serves as a living museum preserving a thousand years of cultural values. The centerpiece of the trip is Son Dong Craft Village, the "capital" of sculpture and lacquer arts. Here, you will be amazed to witness lifeless blocks of wood being "given a soul" by master artisans, transforming into majestic statues. Beyond mere observation, you will have the chance to directly experience the intricate techniques of lacquering and gold/silver leaf gilding, and wander through ancient communal houses and pagodas that showcase the pinnacle of the village's craftsmanship.

Along this heritage trail, the journey stops at Kim Hoang Painting Village. In a nostalgic atmosphere, you will join artisans in rediscovering the brilliant red hues and bold brushstrokes of a once-lost Tet painting tradition—a symbol of luck and prosperity. The trip concludes with an impressive visit to the Lai Xa Photography Museum, which preserves the memories and priceless black-and-white photographs of the only traditional photography village in Vietnam.
